General Description

This polymer-bound version of IBX cleanly converts primary and secondary alcohols to the corresponding aldehydes and ketones ^[1,2] . It is particularly useful for the synthesis of peptide aldehydes as it oxidises peptide alcohols efficiently and spent resin can be simply removed by filtration.
