No other system in the world has such vast capabilities as the iitc blood pressure systems. Single animal systems are controlled from the touch screen which allows keying in all necessary test setups. These rodent restrainers are used with the non-invasive blood pressure tail cuff system for mice and rats. They can also be use for tail vein injections or other studies where the animal needs to be restrained. Eight different sizes are available for use with neonate rats and adult mice up to 1,000 gram rats. Constructed from clear 0.25” wall acrylic, these restrainers are clear and durable. They can be cleaned easily with mild soap and water. Do not use ammonia-based solvents for cleaning. All rodent restrainers are supplied with adjustable head gates, and the end plate snaps in place for easy removal. The animals are free to walk in, as opposed to traditional methods of bootstrap holders where animals are physically forced into the restrainers backwards, which can cause severe trauma.
