Takara Cloning Enhancer removes background plasmid DNA and PCR residue, eliminating the need for PCR insert purification prior to cloning. Cloning Enhancer-treated PCR samples yield significantly more recombinant clones. Since treatment with Cloning Enhancer occurs in the same tube as the PCR reaction, it is less likely to result in UV damage or nicking.
