Miltenyi Biotec Clone REA908 recognizes the human p63 protein, an intracellular type II transmembrane protein located in the reticular subdomain of the rough endoplasmic reticulum (ER). P63 is mainly found in normal and neoplastic plasma cells, but also in melanocytic cells, melanoma cells, epithelial cells, and osteoblasts from bone marrow and is able to differentiate lymphoplasmacytoid lymphoma from lymphocytic and follicular lymphoma. Is is suggested, that p63 is involved in protein processing or secretion.
