The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAlease Complex to bind markers with high avidity. | Clone REAL396 recognizes the human CD50 antigen, a type I transmembrane glycoprotein also known as ICAM-3 (Intercellular adhesion molecule 3). CD50, a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, is closely related to ICAM-1 and consists of five immunoglobulin domains. CD50 is expressed on leukocytes. CD50 is a ligand for CD11a (leukocyte adhesion LFA-1 protein) and is also associated with the amino-terminal domain of ERM proteins and moesin.
