Miltenyi Biotec Clone REA758 recognizes the human FcεRIa, the a subunit of the human high-affinity Fc receptor for IgE. The receptor is composed of one a-, one B-, and two disulphide-linked γ-chains, of which the a subunit binds IgE1. FcεRIa is expressed on mast and basophil cells, is upregulated in the presence of IgE, and is found on a subset of blood dendritic cells.
