Miltenyi Biotec Clone REA577 recognizes the pro-form of the mouse IL-1B antigen, a proinflammatory cytokine which is a member of the interleukin 1 family expressed by monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells. IL-1B is an important mediator of the inflammatory response, and is involved in a different cellular activities, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis.
