Miltenyi Biotec Clone REA585 recognizes the mouse VB8.1, 8.2 T cell receptor (TCR VB8.1, 8.2) but not VB8.3. VB8.1 and 8.2 are variants of the TCR B chain that associates with the TCR a chain. The TCR is responsible for recognizing antigens bound to major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecules. It is a disulfide-linked membrane-anchored heterodimeric glycoprotein normally consisting of the highly variable a and B chains.
