General Description

Vial septa are available in a variety of materials. Septa are selected based on the chemical properties of the sample and the temperature to which the vial will be subjected during the analysis. PTFE/Silicone is recommended for use with most organic solvents until PTFE is pierced. It has good resealability and can withstand a temperature of 250°C.
