Revvity Twinlite Glow Reporter Gene Assay System, 1000 Assay Points

twinlite^™ glow is a dual luminescence reporter gene assay system designed to detect and quantitate both firefly and renillaluciferase sequentially from cultured cells allowing for the expression levels of two separate genes to be measured in a single assay.

The assay chemistry has been designed such that the luminescent signals for both firefly and renilla decay slowly with a half-life of at least 2 hours each as shown in Figure 3. This means that the assay can be performed with a luminometer without reagent dispensers typically required of flash-type kinetic luminescent reagents such as the original twinlite flash luminescence dual luciferase reporter gene assay.
