The Oligo(dT) is immobilized covalently on the surface of superparamagnetic polyvinylalcohol beads, known as M-PVA Magnetic Beads. The high magnetite content enables a fast magnetic separation, even from large sample volumes. The micrometer-sized beads present a high active surface per volume and allow efficient adaptation to specific applications. Due to the hydrophilic nature of the polyvinylalcohol matrix, unspecific binding properties are reduced to a minimum.
