Background
| Target Background | Daratumumab (Darzalex) is a human IgG1k monoclonal antibody that is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of multiple myeloma. It binds with high affinity to CD38, which is highly expressed on the surface of multiple myeloma cells. Daratumumab can make immune system to attack cancer cells, resulting in rapid tumor cell death through immunomodulatory effects. |
