The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity. | Clone REA1142 recognizes the human CD56 (NCAM1) antigen, a glycoprotein of the Ig-superfamily, also known as neural cell adhesion molecule (NCAM), which plays a role in cell-to-cell adhesion and cell-matrix interactions during embryonic development. Expression is found in blood on all resting and activated NK cells and on a minor subset of CD3+ T cells. It is also expressed in brain (cerebellum and cortex) and at neuromuscular junctions.
