Miltenyi Biotec Clone REA917 recognizes the calcium- and zinc-binding protein S100A8, also known as migration inhibitory factor-related protein 8 (MRP-8), calprotectin, or calgranulin-A. S100A8 is mainly expressed in myeloid cells, e.g., monocytes, macrophages, and granulocytes and upregulated in different tumors, e.g., in skin, breast, colon, pancreatic, bladder, and ovarian malignancies.
