Miltenyi Biotec Clone REAL790 is an antibody fragment derived from the full Neurofilament H (200 kD) antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity. | Clone REAL790 recognizes the Neurofilament H (200 kD) protein, which belongs to the type IV intermediate filament family. Neurofilaments are a major component of the neuronal cytoskeleton and a useful marker for distinguishing neurons which are positive for Neurofilament, from glia. It is found in several neural, neuroendocrine, and endocrine tumors, but also in carcinomas of skin and lung, paragangliomas and adrenal and extra-adrenal pheochromocytomas.
