Miltenyi Biotec Clone REA763 recognizes the human CD85f antigen, which is also known as ILT11, LIR9, or LILRA5. CD85f belongs to the LIR family, which is a group of immunoglobulin-like receptors that have activating and inhibitory functions in leukocytes. CD85f is expressed as a membrane-bound receptor and as a secreted molecule on tissues of the hematopoietic system, e.g., bone marrow, spleen, lymph node, and peripheral leukocytes. Expression is mainly found on monocytes and neutrophils, but not in T cells, B cells, or natural killer (NK) cells.
