Miltenyi Biotec Clone REA1176 recognizes the human CD169, also known as siglec-1 or sialoadhesin, which is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein. It is the largest member of the siglec family, which are cell surface lectins that are able to bind to sialic acids and mediate interactions between proteins and carbohydrates.
