Takara 5X One Step PrimeScript III RT-qPCR

5X One Step PrimeScript III RT-qPCR Kit contains a more concentrated version of the premix in our 2X One Step PrimeScript III RT-qPCR Mix (RR600). For example, only 5 μl of the 5X premix is needed for a 25 μl reaction versus 12.5 μl of 2X premix. This opens possibilities for using a more dilute template or multiple primers and probes.

As with the 2X premix, the 5X premix does not freeze at its storage temperature of -20℃, SO a reaction can be started simply by adding the template sample, primer, and a probe for detecting the desired target. The RT enzyme displays tolerance to elevated temperatures (up to 55℃). At higher temperatures, RNA secondary structure is more relaxed and less likely to impede extension. SO, the elevated temperature tolerance enables cDNA synthesis from RNA with a more complex secondary structure.
