The EcoTainer 24™ is a rapidly degradable URISAFE® Container. Plastics take hundreds of years to degrade naturally in the environment. The Simport® EcoTainer 24™ will biodegrade to become some of the soil’s organic components in less than 7 years in constant contact with the earth instead of up to 400 years when using conventional plastics. The only necessary condition for the EcoTainer 24™ to biodegrade is continuous contact with other degrading materials.

No heat, physical stress, oxygen, or sunlight is necessary. The EcoTainer 24™ can break down safely and quickly, by biological means, into the raw materials of nature and disappear into the environment.
