Following receptor stimulation, increases in intracellular calcium enable measurement of the resulting flash luminescence signal. The frozen cells approach to functional testing consists in the dissociation of cell culture from testing. That means that we will culture the cells and freeze them with an optimized protocol to stop all replication.
