Application
1-Hexadecanesulfonic acid sodium salt can be used as an emulsifier during the reverse iodine transfer – emulsion polymerization of styrene[2]. It was used to study the mechanism for the crosslinking of hydroxyl-terminated poly(dimethylsiloxane)[3].
