General Description

Method: photometric 0.015 - 6.00 mg/l H₂O₂ Spectroquant^®This Spectroquant^®Hydrogen Peroxide Reagent Test allows the accurate quantification of the hydrogen peroxide concentration in disinfectant and rinsing solutions. Method applied: In the presence of a phenanthroline derivative hydrogen peroxide reduces copper(II) ions to copper(I) ions. In the process these form an orange-colored complex which is determined photometrically. The Spectroquant^®Reagent Test Kits contain highly stable, ready-to-use reagent mixtures to perform the analysis according to the procedure described in the accompanying instruction leaflet.
