Wilmad Stirrer Shaft Adapter W/Universal Joint 10mm

For connecting a 6, 8, 10 or 19mm diameter stirrer shaft to the chuck of the stirrer motor. The universal joint compensates for vibration and misalignment of the stirrer shaft, thereby greatly reducing the danger of breaking.Consists, at the stirrer shaft end, of a split aluminum collar surrounding a nylon bushing. The stirrer shaft is inserted into the bushing and secured by tightening the set screw in the aluminum collar. This collar and bushing assembly is connected to a stainless steel stud by a stainless universal joint. This stud then connects the whole assembly to the chuck of a stirrer motor.
