Takara NucleoBond RS 50, 1 Column

NucleoBond RS columns are designed for large-scale isolation of endotoxin-free plasmid DNA from bacterial cultures using peristaltic pumps or FPLC systems. After two efficient washing steps to remove endotoxins and other contaminants, plasmid DNA is eluted, precipitated, and easily reconstituted in H2O-EF, TE-EF, or any other suitable endotoxin-free buffer for further use.RS columns are also suitable for preparative-scale RNA clean-up from pre-purified RNA or IVT reactions.

NucleoBond RS 50 columns bind up to 50 mg of plasmid DNA from up to 40 g (wet weight; ODVmax15) of bacterial cells or up to 45 mg post-IVT RNA.

Purified plasmid DNA was analyzed via agarose gel electrophoresis/fragment analyzer. More than 90% of the plasmid DNA isolated with each type of column was in the supercoiled form, demostrating that plasmids isolated with NucleoBond RS columns have high structural integrity.
