Quality Biological Water, Molecular Biology Grade, Nuclease Protease Free and Low Endotoxin, Sterile, 10x500ml
Molecular Biology Water is prepared by reverse osmosis, passed through fine carbon, deionized through two resin beds, and serially filtered through 0.1 µM positively charged membranes.
DNase, RNase, and protease tested
Applications
Molecular Biology Water is ideal for the preparation of reagents, rinsing glassware and plasticware, and other molecular biology applications where DNase, RNase, and Protease-free water is required.
No toxic agents, including DEPC, are used in the preparation of Molecular Biology Water, eliminating possible interferences with enzymatic reactions. Molecular Biology Water is negative for RNase (sensitivity to femtomoles) and is negative for non-specific Endonuclease, Exonuclease, and Protease activity.
Molecular Biology Water is useful in:
- Reconstituting nucleic acids and/or proteins
- DNA applications (i.e., subcloning in pUC plasmids)
- RNA applications (i.e., preparation of an RNA probe)
- Protein applications (i.e., Western Blotting)
- Diluent or solvent for any molecular biology grade biochemical
