They are single-use units designed to rapidly and efficiently complete sterile vacuum filtration of your samples, including cell culture, media, buffers, and reagents. Sartorius offers a range of Sartolab® RF units in varying sizes, designed to fit the needs of your lab. The Sartolab® RF 500 PES Vacuum Filtration Units include polyethersulfone membranes, maximizing the highest flow rates and low protein binding properties.

Sartolab® RF 500 PES Vacuum Filtration Units are the ultimate choice for your filtration needs. All Sartolab® RF vacuum filtration units are manufactured in an ISO 13485 certified plant, using a Class 8 Cleanroom to assure the highest level of purity. All fluid path materials used in the production of the Sartolab® RF vacuum filtration units are medically graded for the highest quality, without any animal origin (the Sartolab® RF 500 units are intended for research purposes only). All products are sold sterilized and guaranteed to be endotoxin-free. And all fluid path component materials meet the requirements for United States Pharmacopeia (USP).
Stand-Alone or Parallel Filtration
Sartolab® RF 500 PES Vacuum Filtration Units are ready-to-use units. They require the use of a vacuum source. For stand-alone functions, you can utilize the provided tube connector to directly connect your filtration unit to the vacuum source. Alternatively, these units are also compatible with the Sartolab® Multistation (sold separately). With the Multistation, a single vacuum source allows for parallel filtration of up to six samples.
Fast, Reliable Filtration
Sartolab® RF 500 Vacuum Filtration Units allow fast and reliable vacuum filtration. At a pore size of 0.22 µm or 0.45 µm, the polyethersulfone membrane provides fast flow rates and ensures low protein binding and extractables.
